PayAlt

PayAlt is a startup revolutionizing the way we use crypto.

Heather Norvall and I worked directly with PayAlt’s founders to create a logo, branding guidelines, social media content and more as they launch their exciting new service.

For this logo, we took the recognizable image of a pile of coins, and abstracted it into a distinct logo mark. We aimed to bridge the gap between the more obvious coin logos commonly seen in the marketing of cryptocurrencies, and the abstracted logos seen in top tech brands.

Combined with bold color palette and type, this logo conveys both a dynamic, cutting edge energy as well as the established and professional reliability you'd expect from a top tech brand.

We also created a visual style and brand voice for PayAlt to produce a series of eye-catching Instagram posts to coincide with the rollout of their beta testing program, including an Instagram takeover, a series of static posts, and a short animated post for promotional purposes.




We worked with PayAlt’s founders and engineering team to build a visual overlay that allowed their users to shop online with cryptocurrency in an unobtrusive path to purchase. These designs for the shopping overlay were centered around simplicity, making paying with crypto just slightly more complex than standard forms of payment.
